Some of you might be wondering, just what exactly is going on?

Well, I'll be happy to tell you. MSF is being rebuilt, from somewhere below the ground up! Or something like that. It is no where near as dramatic as I want to portray it, so I'm not even going to bother with the creative powers.

What I will do, is provide you all with a timeline (devoid of any sort of actual times, thus covering my butt when/if things take longer than expected :D) of how MSF's construction. First up is already done, which is provide a framework from which a site can emerge. This step none of you really saw, which is good, because it was messy and lots of cute fuzzy animals died to make it so (why do you think web design costs so much?). The second step is what I am currently bogged down in.

The second step involves setting up the site and putting up all the previous content in a nice, shiny, easy to find format. Most of that is simple, but the conversion from the old system to the new is a might bit slow (I blame various things, Karm being the most important thing to blame). But don't fear, I am probably the most stubborn thing you'll ever have the bad luck to meet, so prepare for the obvious future of me meeting an immovable object. Should be fun, get your seats in advance.

The next step, after the old content is up will be cosmetic. During this time we will be (happily) accepting new content, which will be put up by myself and others, but most of my effort will be bent towards making the site not look like it came prepackaged from somewhere (which it currently does). This will include a new paint job for the forums as well. Don't worry, I won't be forcing anyone to stick with a scheme they don't like (mostly), you will have options.

From there, the final step will be to move away from a staff uploaded content system to a user uploaded content system. From which you little wonderful content machines (who I promise are not being exploited for your life essence and/or souls) will happily frolic through our pages and shower them with your amazing content, yay~!

Now, the best thing about this timeline is that those last two steps I talked about are entirely fluid. I could somehow get the user content system up and running before I do anything cosmetic (I don't think so, but I don't really talk with myself, so I might do it to spite myself). I might even have the new cosmetic stuff up before the content, who knows!

With the timeline out of the way, lets move on to the important part of this post. Logo! MSF Needs a logo, you know, the kind that would sit in one of the corners, or as a banner across the center of the top of the page, something that denotes MSF as MSF, that you can discern with a glance!
